According from the latest statistics from Hitwise the UK is now using the internet to access search engines more often than for accessing adult websites!
In January, search engines accounted for 13.3% of all UK internet visits, compared with 11.5% for adult websites.

The old joke is that the internet is one big network of adult websites and that access of adult material far outweighs the hundreds of other uses. New stats reveal that, for UK users, search now is a much more compelling reason to go online.
