Facebook, the social network giants have now reached their next huge milestone for worldwide users. It is estimated that Facebook now has 225 million worldwide users.
Interestingly, the biggest growth over recent years has been outside the US, with 70% of users now outside America.
Over 100 million Facebook users log into their account at least once a day. Over a month Facebook.com has over 1 billion pieces of user generated content added to the site including over 850 million photos added each month and 8 million videos.
It is estimated that Facebook have an annual spend of approximately $20-$25million on data centre space to host their servers.
