Facebook to Launch Mobile Ads!

It has been announced that Facebook will be developing Mobile Ads in the coming weeks!

Here at Clicky Media we’re keeping a close eye on the development so we can offer these to our clients as soon as they’re released.

The advertising side of Facebook has proved to be very profitable, with a lot of users now accessing Facebook via their mobiles, the next natural step was advertising on the mobile formats of the site.

Whilst it is not yet clear exactly how these ads will be utilised by Facebook, we’re already very excited about the possibility of new ventures with Facebook.

Facebook Competitions

Social Media is growing more and more by the day, with Facebook easily dominating the social media scene. There has been an array of new and exciting opportunities developed as the site has grown in popularity. One such opportunity is the Facebook Competitions, these are a great way of raising brand awareness and create a dialogue with the Facebook users.

Clicky Media have several clients currently utilising the Facebook competitions with great results.

There are a number of interesting ways to use a Facebook competition.

Photo or Video

This type of competition encourages users to ‘Like’ they’re favourite Photo or Video. This can be particularly effective if the users upload their own videos or pictures.

Quiz

A Quiz is a great was of generating buzz and encourages users to try and beat their friends scores, greatly increasing the reach as it is passed from user to user.

Raffle

A Raffle will develop a large number of followers but won’t encourage the same dialogue that other Competitions can. However this can be used to increase the number of Facebook Fans greatly, particularly when the user has to ‘Like’ the page in order to be entered in the raffle.
