An on-going campaign for Clipbank Channel 4 Learning saw an 82% increase in website visits within the first three months of the campaign. This campaign also included over 2.3 million advert impressions on highly relevant sites across the web, in response to specific search queries and to exact audiences proving fantastic for brand awareness among the Clipbank target market. Conversions also drastically increased with 125% increase in overall clicks, more specifically a 215% increase in online quote requests and an 800% increase in demo requests.

Results of a survey showed that 57% people talk to people online more than they do in real life and up to 51% state that Social Media has influenced their decision to make a purchase. Adverts can be tailored to location and demographic through a variety of mediums including Polls, Videos, and competitions, Home page Ads, Fan Page Ads and Engagement Ads. A recent campaign for The Teaching Awards received impressive results. An in-depth social media & video strategy was put in place to generate buzz and to support the campaign. The results showed that the social pages received over 12,000 views, videos views exceeded 27,000 and the Ads received over 74,000 clicks from the campaign. The campaign as a whole received over 86,000,000 adverts impressions in 3 months leading to 2,200 nominations for teachers following viewing or clicking the advert. These figures show the power of Social Media and the importance of harnessing it correctly in order to maximise ROI.
