The Project

Clipbank is a unique learning service from Channel 4 Learning, blending thousands of educational video clips and other learning resources designed specifically to support teachers and students. As such, Channel 4 Learning employed Clicky Media™ to help reach their educational target market online with the aim of significantly raising brand awareness, more importantly to achieve a marked increase in inquiries made through the website.

What we did

We developed a highly intelligent and measurable search and display PPC (pay per click) advertising campaign using the latest targeting techniques based on the core subjects Channel 4 were looking to promote and the key target market they wanted to reach.

The Results

In the first three months of the now ongoing campaign we achieved an 82% increase in visits to the site comparing the same period before the campaign began.

Even more significantly the campaign resulted in a fantastic 125% increase in overall conversions (inquiries/demo requests) from the Clipbank site. Over 2.3 million advert impressions on highly relevant sites across the web were delivered, in response to specific search queries and to exact audiences proving fantastic for brand awareness among Clipbank’s target market.

Overall, the campaigns have yielded such a fantastic return on investment that we are continuing our management of the campaigns on an ongoing basis and have been awarded with the contracts for other Channel 4 Learning subsidiaries.
