Just like the rest of the world, Clicky Media have also fallen in love with the new social media phenomenon. As one of the fastest growing websites ever, Pinterest is now one of the top 30 visited websites in the world and warrants some serious attention from online marketeers like ourselves.



Pinterest is a social network centered around the curating and sharing of images, and so integrates with people’s use of the internet as a whole, as they “pin” images of interest as they browse the web. People use Pinterest to plan their weddings, organise their favourite recipes, create mood boards for their interior decorating, save their aspirational fashion styles and much more. If you’ve not discovered Pinterest yet, give it a go; you’ll soon see how addictive it is!

 

 

As well as being a fun way to explore your visual interests, there’s more to Pinterest than first meets the eye; crucially, the substantial advantages for businesses. More and more businesses are setting themselves up on Pinterest, and it’s no wonder, since Pinterest now drives more referral traffic than Google+, YouTube and LinkedIn combined; it is a great source of plentiful, high-quality website visitors.
