5 hospitality brands getting digital just right
Our new Digital Branding Consultant, Jonney Cox, knows hospitality inside-out and for his debut blog post we thought we’d ask him to tell us about 5 brands that get digital right in the hospitality industry…
There are some great digitally minded hospitality companies out there at the moment so to showcase some I’ve chosen brands that I love…
1. Albert’s Schloss, Manchester / View their site >>
Fast becoming a Manchester institution, their Instagram account is almost as busy as the bar itself.
Real time food & drink pics, back stage videos, guest regrams… it all creates that famous Schloss atmosphere on the screen in front of you, making you wish you could visit right now!
2. New World Trading Co / View their site >>
A fabulously themed website that encourages user interaction & really sets the scene for what to expect when you visit one of their venues.
Each sub-brand is individually themed but remains linked to the core principles of the core brand. Their social media posts keep to the theme but give a real-time experience of what is going on in each venue…
3. Draft House / View their site >>
I love their brand – it’s simple yet strong and although the website is fairly straightforward it gets the points across easily without any fuss. They use their Facebook feed to showcase new, exciting beers and food dishes.
This group has a clear brand message – uncomplicated beer focused pubs with a cracking food offering – and their digital presence backs this up.
4. The Seafood Pub Company / View their site >>
A crisp & clear website with superb imagery really captures the essence of this award winning pub company.
The brand is clean and simple and they have great use of whitespace on their website to allow the images to take centre stage, especially pictures of their award winning seafood whilst wide angle photography really captures how great the bedrooms are.
5. Soho House Group / View their site >>
My favourite brand in hospitality, it simply exudes success. Sharp images of their roof top pools, chic interiors and cool products. Sub-sites for each of their houses, restaurant brands and hotels. All delivering a consistent brand message – aspirational, inspiring, eye catching design across all platforms.
There you go! 5 beautiful hospitality brands getting their digital efforts just right, well done to all! Next week I will be looking at 5 Hotel groups who have figured out a winning digital presence and have really caught my eye.
