Black Friday & Cyber Monday | Get Your Business Ready

This year’s predictions by Experian and IMRG suggest Black Friday spend will increase by 32%, with Boxing Day only increasing by 22%. It’s not just the stores predicted an increase in footfall though, as an online presences is more important than ever with Cyber Monday predicted to see an increase of 31% on 2014 sales.
On November 27th 2015, British consumers are forecasted to spend a mammoth £1,07bn searching for a bargain in time for Christmas, with a further spend of £943 million on Cyber Monday.
According to Retail Week, 96% of consumers said they were happy or very happy with what they bought, and it’s not surprising really with the discounts that are available on a huge range of products.

These charts illustrate the need for cross device marketing, and how although desktop may still be most popular in terms of click through rate (53%) and purchasing (58%), mobiles and tablets have been increasing year on year and play a crucial role in your strategy.
You don’t need us to tell you that the time consumers spend researching products has been increasing year on year, which is why there is a difference between sales and click through rate. A customer may make their final purchase on desktop, but they could have researched and found you on their mobile whilst at work or on the go.
