Clicky Campaigns Shortlisted For Prestigious Awards
We are really excited to announce we have been shortlisted for Best PPC Campaign and Best Social Media Campaign at next year’s Northern Digital Awards!
Today we were pleased to find out that two of our campaigns have been shortlisted for awards. A campaign for our travel industry client Darwin Escapes has been recognised for Best Social Media Campaign, whilst our work with temporary car insurance provider DayInsure has been shortlisted for Best PPC Campaign.

Best Social Media Campaign.
Darwin Escapes ‘Name the Duck Competition’ has been nominated for ‘Best Social Media Campaign’. This campaign was for our longtime client Darwin Escapes, who wanted to create a campaign to show the diversity and activities of each of their holiday parks.
Darwin are famous for their rubber ducks, so it seemed the perfect idea to do a ‘name the duck’ competition. We created a persona for each of the different parks using the ducks, with each duck having their own unique personality and likes.
The campaign was held in July and we were so thrilled with the results which saw increased visits on Darwin’s website visits as well as engagement on social media. We loved working on this campaign as it was a fantastic opportunity for Darwin and Clicky to collaborate together!

Best PPC Campaign
The ‘Best PPC Campaign’ we have been nominated for is our wonderful client Dayinsure. We were tasked with providing an innovative, results-focused digital strategy that delivered a positive ROI for the company. The aim was to drive more traffic to their recently relaunched website and enhanced online quoting portal.
Dayinsure provide temporary insurance from 1 day to 1 month across a wide range of audiences aged between 19 and 75, so their target market is quite varied. To simplify the offering, the products are divided into four key areas based on the vehicle or driver type; Cars, Vans, Motorhomes and Learner Drivers.
We provided a forward-thinking and unique approach to promoting the Learner brand to a digital-savvy, young audience who had low loyalty and patience levels and high expectations from websites. We also devised and implemented the campaigns to appeal to the parents of these young adults, with messaging and creative adapted in accordance with the keywords used for each audience.
The campaign achieved fantastic results for the client, meeting and surpassing all defined initial objectives and goals.

The Northern Digital Awards are an annual event managed by Don’t Panic Event Management and Prolific North. They recognise the very best in digital campaigns, e-tailing, apps, video and most importantly talent in the North, as well as rewarding websites across a number of sectors. The awards are due to take place on Thursday 26th January in the New Dock Hall at Royal Armouries, in Leeds.
