Clicky Island Discs / Matt
It’s Matt, one of our Front-End Developers turn to give us his Clicky Islands Discs in part nineteen of the series.
Inspired by the legendary Desert Island Discs of BBC radio, we’ve asked the Clicky team; before they’re castaway on a remote desert island in the middle of nowhere with only themselves as company, what 5 songs, book and luxury item would they take with them?
1. The Tempest by Pendulum
Pendulum are one of my favourite bands of all time. I’ve seen them live a handful of times and they have never disappointed!
2. One for the Road by Arctic Monkeys
Oh Arctics how I love you… this song brings a lot of nostalgia.
3. Inhaler by Foals
I love their new stuff as well, but this song is an absolute beast of a tune (you might not want to put this one on in the car as you may get fined for speeding like me – I’m joking of course *cough*).
4. Butterfly by Crazy Town
This 90’s classic will NEVER get old! Looking at the music video now, I never knew Ben stiller was part of the band (!).
5. I’d love to change the world (matstubs remix) by Jetta
I love a bit of drum ‘n’ bass and trap. I still can’t stop listening to this!
Harry Potter by J.K Rowling
It’s a bit generic, but in all honesty they probably were the most captivating books I’ve ever read.
A Bottle of Jack Daniels
I’d like to think of myself chilling by a palm tree sipping some Jack Daniels out of a coconut.
