Elite Competitions’ lockdown success

Elite Competitions are a Lancashire based online competition website. They hold daily prize draws to win the latest tech, luxury watches, six figure cash giveaways, supercars and premium holidays. The competitions take place in the form of an online raffle, with live draws broadcast via the companies Facebook and website every day of the week.

When we originally started working with Elite Competitions our initial strategy was to grow their online presence via paid social media advertising and resulting competition entries. Through our continued partnership we have developed a suite of engaging creative which has had outstanding success for the brand, surpassing expectations.

Since December 2019, we have increased revenue for the brand by 102%. 

Elite Competitions are one of few brands who have successfully managed to provide thousands of their followers with a source of entertainment and engaging content throughout the duration of lockdown. With this in mind, Elite Competitions adjusted their strategy to cater to the lockdown market. They Introduced a series of brand new competitions entitled the ‘Saturday Sesh.’ In relation to this, the advertising strategy also needed to be adapted with fresh targeting and a rework of creative to provide audiences with thumb-stopping creative. This guaranteed to break through the plethora of brands who have increased their online activity during lockdown.

The result has been significant, throughout the lockdown period Elite Competitions’ ROAS has grown by 92% (January 2020 vs May 2020).
