Facebook Opens Up Lead Ads

A few months back, Facebook announced that they would be testing a new ad format called ‘Lead Ads‘.
In short, Lead Ads give users a quick and safe way to sign up to specific services, such as newsletters and offers, and also receive information from businesses in the form of quotes and confirmations – you could even book a test drive – all within the Facebook mobile platform.
Last week Facebook made this new format available to all advertisers, which means it can now benefit businesses globally. Upon clicking a Lead Ad, Facebook users are taken to a form where they can edit or confirm their pre-populated (data gathered from a user’s Facebook profile) information before submitting.
