Google plans £1 Billion London Headquarters
Google is planning to spend £1 billion to develop a new headquarters in London, a Reuters report signaled on Thursday. In American dollars thats $1.6 billion.
The news comes after the company bought 2.4 acres of land in London’s King’s Cross area.
“This is a big investment by Google, we’re committing further to the UK – where computing and the web were invented. It’s good news for Google, for London and for the UK,” commented Google VP for Northern and Central Europe Matt Brittin.
