Google’s Panda 4.1 update: What kind of pandamonium is it causing now?

Oh yes, we made that pun. But in all seriousness, what does this new update mean for the regular Joe? On the last update, we saw that the big companies had been hit, suffering ranking losses across the board.
Google started rolling out this version of Panda just last week, continuing into this week. It appears that Google are becoming a little Robin Hood-esque, with this update allowing those smaller and medium sized websites, who have bothered to follow guidelines and create high-quality sites, to actually rank better.
They’ll be able to work out which sites these include by focusing on user feedback (so customer journey and conversion rate optimisation continue to be vital metrics to evaluate) and webmaster feedback.
Google also states that the update will affect 3-5% of queries, but this is dependent on location (of which they haven’t given any further detail).
