We can all jump for joy, as Instagram have finally opened up their ads platform to all businesses! With over 300M users, Instagram is already one of the largest mobile ads platform globally, and they haven’t actually been in the game that long!

Instagram’s parent company, Facebook has been running adverts on its platform since 2007, and now it’s time for the popular photo sharing app to catch up!
How does it work then? What exactly are these ads?
Instagram ads can be purchased and managed through Facebook’s self serve platform, Power Editor and through Instagram’s Ads API.
There are three ad format; image ads, video ads and carousel ads. All three are designed to maximise engagement and increase awareness with your audience. There are several objectives that can be achieved through Instagram’s ads, which include:
