Introducing Built by Sprint

Clicky has been building websites since 2007. It was our first love, and the creativity of making something new kept us all buzzing for years. It has been a real joy to work on so many great projects, from pure, design-led showcase sites to large-scale ecom builds.

Over time, our performance marketing team outgrew the web team, and for many people it's now what we're best known for. But web design and development has always been central to the business, and it's one of the reasons we get such strong results for our clients. We don't stop at optimising your ad campaigns; we make sure the website delivers an experience to match.

Now web development is changing faster than at any point we can remember. AI and agentic workflows have transformed how we work, and we're building more new web projects today than we have in over 10 years. 

So, as Nathan marks 13 years at Clicky this month, we've made something new. It's called Sprint, and it's more than a new department. It's a whole new way of thinking, backed by a bucket load of new technology, that makes the build process the slickest it has ever been and the finished product better than ever.

What is Sprint?

Sprint is a creative web development studio for the agentic era. It builds, improves and maintains websites and web apps, with every project led by senior engineers from Clicky Group. As a Clicky Group company, it brings nearly two decades of knowing what actually makes a site perform. It has its own team and its own name because what it does is genuinely different.

The short version: we build faster than we ever thought possible, without the quality dropping. Senior engineers still make every decision; they just have far better tools than they did two years ago. So does everyone else, which is exactly why we think the builders who know how to use those tools properly are about to matter more, not less.

Sprint builds for Clicky too

Sprint isn't a side project sitting next to the agency. It's already the engineering team behind Clicky's web builds, and the first one is live. When Valto refreshed their brand this year, Clicky led the strategy, design and search work, and Sprint built the site.

That's the model from here on. A Clicky website project gets the same planning, SEO and account team it always has, with Sprint's senior engineers doing the build. Clients get the thinking they came to Clicky for, and a site that ships faster than it used to. Every new Clicky web build (including this one) is now a Sprint build, so you'll start seeing the name on more of our work over the coming months.

Why we're so excited

Because it works. We've already shipped a number of projects, and 5 of them are in production right now, with real customers using them today. Personally, this is the most excited I've been about building things since the early days of Clicky. Nathan feels the same.
