Looking for the most popular Christmas gifts for men in 2026? We ranked the UK's biggest men's gift brands and products by how many people are expected to search for them this Christmas, using real search data rather than a hunch. Each figure is a prediction: what the gift drew last November and December, moved by how interest has changed since. We explain the method, and what it cannot see, just below the grid. If you are buying, it is a good steer on what will be hard to find by December. If you sell gifts for men, or advertise them, it shows you where the demand is and when it arrives. For the overall picture, see our top 20 most popular Christmas gifts in the UK.

How we predict the most popular gifts for men this Christmas
Every figure in this post is a prediction, and it is built from 2 pieces of evidence rather than a hunch.
1. Search volumes tell us the size of last Christmas. Semrush records how many times each gift was searched on Google in the UK every month. For every product on the list we took its searches in November and December 2025, the 2 months when Christmas buying actually happens. That is the baseline: how big the gift was last time, at the moment it mattered.
2. Google Trends tells us how interest has moved since. For each product we compared Google Trends interest in October 2026 with October 2025. If a gift is drawing 37% more interest than it was a year ago going into the season, we expect its Christmas to be 37% bigger too. If interest has fallen by a third, we expect its Christmas to shrink by the same amount.
Multiply the 2 and you get the expected UK searches a month this Christmas. We rank on that number, rounded to 2 significant figures, and we show last Christmas's figure next to every entry so you can see the step.
Why not just use the yearly average?
Because the yearly average hides exactly the things a Christmas list needs to show. Xbox Series X averages 201,000 UK searches a month across the year, but it drew around 330k a month last November and December, and with interest up 49% we expect around 490k this time. The average would have undersold it.
It cuts the other way when interest is cooling. New Balance 9060 drew around 230k a month last Christmas, but Google Trends interest is down 36% on last October, which puts it at around 150k a month and 15th on the list. A yearly average would have ranked it higher and told you nothing about the direction.
What the method cannot see
- Launches. A product with no Christmas to compare against is shown at its current run rate, and its actual Christmas will be bigger.
- Stock. Search interest measures what people want, not what they can buy. Limited editions and launch-year consoles sell out, and the searches carry on regardless.
- November surprises. A product that goes viral in late November will not be in October's data, which is a good reason to re-run this in December.

Which gifts for men are rising, and which are fading
Three themes stand out. Consoles are up across the board: the PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2 are both up 37% and the Xbox Series X 49%, while the Steam Deck and Meta Quest 3 are both down by more than a quarter. Health tracking is growing, with the Oura Ring up 37% and Whoop and Fitbit both up. And in clothing, the money is moving: Arc'teryx is up 61% and Barbour 27%, while the New Balance 9060, Carhartt and The North Face are all down.
What UK shoppers are searching for right now
Google Trends flags the searches growing fastest around a topic. These are the rising searches around "christmas gifts for men", "gifts for men", "gifts for dad" and "gifts for boyfriend" over the past 3 months. A "breakout" is a search that has grown by more than 5,000%.
Generic gift searches are taking off
"Presents for men", "gifts for men this christmas" and "christmas gift ideas for him" are all breakouts, "mens christmas gifts" is up 300% and "christmas gift ideas for men" up 160%. "Christmas presents for dad" is up 700%. These are shoppers who have not decided yet, and they are the easiest to win with a good gift guide or category page.
The man who has everything
"Unique gifts for men who have everything" is up 200%, and "gifts for boyfriend who has everything" and "gifts for dad who wants nothing uk" are both breakouts. "Thoughtful christmas gifts for boyfriend" is breaking out too. The demand is for something that feels considered, not another gadget.
Stocking fillers, slippers and Secret Santa
"Stocking fillers for men", "mens slippers" and "hoodies for men" are breakouts, and "secret santa gifts for men" is up 170%. "Aftershave for men", "golf gifts" and "golf gifts for men" are breaking out as well, and so is Lego.
When people shop for men's Christmas gifts
Men's gift searches arrive late. 73% of the year's "christmas gifts for men" searches happen in November and December, and "gifts for men" and "gifts for dad" both peak in December rather than November. "Gifts for boyfriend" is the exception: it peaks in November, around Black Friday.
| Search | Before November | November | December |
|---|---|---|---|
| christmas gifts for men | 14% | 37% | 37% |
| gifts for men | 17% | 20% | 31% |
| gifts for dad | 13% | 19% | 35% |
| gifts for boyfriend | 20% | 26% | 21% |
| mens aftershave | 19% | 18% | 18% |
| mens slippers | 21% | 21% | 26% |
Share of each search's yearly volume (Semrush UK, August 2025 to July 2026). The rest falls between January and July.
What it means for retailers and advertisers
Gaming is the headline. 4 of the top 5 are consoles or games, and the PS5, Switch 2 and Xbox are all up by more than a third. Expect competition, and click costs, on console terms to climb through November.
Bid on the category, not just the brand. Dior Sauvage and Creed Aventus are both down, but generic "mens aftershave" searches are up 21% and "aftershave for men" is a breakout. The same is true of gifts: "presents for men" and "gifts for men this christmas" are breakouts. Shoppers are browsing before they choose.
Plan for a late peak. Men's gift searches are concentrated in December. Keep budget back for the final 3 weeks, and make sure delivery cut-offs and click and collect are clear.
Organise by recipient. Dad, boyfriend and husband searches behave differently, and "who has everything" is growing fast. Gift guides and landing pages built around who the gift is for will match how people actually search.

How we did it
- Expected Christmas searches and ranking: each gift's UK monthly searches in November and December 2025 (Semrush UK database, monthly trend data), multiplied by its change in Google Trends interest between October 2025 and October 2026. A gift with no like-for-like last Christmas uses its current 3-month run rate. Figures are rounded to 2 significant figures.
- Year-on-year change: Google Trends UK interest for each product, comparing average weekly interest in October 2026 with October 2025. Each term was measured separately, so the figures show change over time, not relative popularity between brands.
- Search volumes: Semrush UK database, average monthly search volumes and monthly trend data, pulled 1 November 2026.
- Rising searches: Google Trends UK related queries for "christmas gifts for men", "gifts for men", "gifts for dad" and "gifts for boyfriend", past 3 months, as of 1 November 2026. Barbour (up 27%) and generic "mens aftershave" (up 21%) were measured the same way.
