Sam joins Clicky!
In traditional Clicky form, for any new starter who joins the agency, we like to ask a few questions to get to know them a little better. We welcome our new Head of Web, Sam, who shares his most embarrassing moment and what he considers are his top skills – if only we had an oven in the Clicky kitchen!
What’s your role at clicky?
Head of Web.
Why did you choose clicky?
The ambition, honesty, integrity & transparency at the heart of the agency ethos was a key driver in my decision making. The opportunity to work with such an exceptional group of talented individuals really excited me as did the quality of the service offered here at Clicky.
What are you most looking forward to working on?
Developing the Web team philosophy and how we can combine data, design thinking and problem solving through an agile approach. We have a fantastic Strategy & Insight team here too which allows clients to learn the full picture of where they are and where they can be. Above all, I’m solution focused and I’m looking forward to working on many more for our ever-evolving client base.
How would you describe yourself in three words?
What would you say is your biggest achievement/proudest moment?
Becoming a father – nothing can compare or prepare you for that. Having just turned 18 months, my son is probably the most demanding client that I have ever worked for.
What’s your most embarrassing moment?
This year? Being a Sunderland AFC fan. No wait, that was last year. And the year before. Oh.
Tell us three skills/talents you possess…
- I built my own house and Cat 6 networked it
- I make an outstanding chilli con carne using my own homegrown tomatoes
- I can recite the whole of The Gruffalo’s Child from memory
