Search Engine Statistics October 2014

Unsurprisingly, Google has dominated at the top with 88.84% of the market share for desktop browsing. Bing has continued to edge ever so slightly closer to Google and is in second position with 4.41% of the market share.
The graph below displays the percentage of market share held by the top search engines worldwide for browsing via a tablet device:
Google remains the dominant figure for browsing via tablet devices with 87.56% however, Yahoo! is in second position with 6.72% which is 2.32% more of the market share than Bing.
The graph below displays the percentage of market share held by the top search engines worldwide for browsing via mobile device:
Again, Google is the top search engine for browsing via mobile devices with an impressive 93.25%. Yahoo! and bing have battled for second position with Yahoo! Leading the way with 4.05%.
October 2013 vs. October 2014
Google has remained the top search engine for October 2014 with Yahoo! and Bing gradually improving their share of the market.

Overall stats show that all three search engines have increased their percentage of market share with Google displaying the most growth with 1.34% compared to this time last year.
