The Clicky Wrap: Our AI-Generated Marketing Podcast, Made With Google Gemini

The Clicky Wrap is our monthly marketing podcast, and it is generated end to end by Google Gemini: AI writes the two-host script, voices it, and even illustrates the cover art. Here is what it is, why we built it, and exactly how Gemini puts it together.

The Clicky Wrap: Our AI-Generated Marketing Podcast, Made With Google Gemini

Here is something we are quite proud of, and quite open about: The Clicky Wrap is generated, start to finish, by artificial intelligence. It is our monthly marketing podcast, and every part of it, the script, the voices, even the cover art, is produced automatically by AI: Google Gemini writes and illustrates it, and ElevenLabs gives it a voice. No one sits down to record it. At the end of each month it writes itself, voices itself and illustrates itself, then publishes to the site.

This post is the behind-the-scenes tour: what the Wrap is, why we built it this way, and exactly how Gemini turns a month of our blog into a few minutes of audio you can actually enjoy. If you would rather just press play, the latest episode lives here.

What the Clicky Wrap actually is

The Clicky Wrap is a monthly audio recap of our blog. At the end of each month, every article we published gets pulled together into a single episode, presented as a natural back-and-forth between two British hosts, Laura and Ollie. They talk through each story in the order it went out, give you the point of it in a sentence or two, then move on. No fluff, no reading headlines out word for word, just the gist of the month delivered like a conversation between two people on the team. The catch, and the fun part, is that Laura and Ollie are not real people. They are AI voices, working from an AI-written script.

A typical episode runs around two to three minutes and covers ten or so stories. The April 2026 edition, for example, was titled "A Core Update, two promotions, and the end of the cookie", which tells you the shape of it: a Google core update finishing, a couple of internal promotions, and the slow death of the third-party cookie, all in one sitting.

Why we built it this way

Two reasons, really. The first is simple respect for your time. Not everyone wants to read a dozen articles, but plenty of people will happily listen on the commute, on a walk, or while the kettle boils. The Wrap meets you there.

The second is that we are an agency that helps brands use AI well, so it would be a bit odd to talk about it and never do it ourselves. The Wrap is us putting Google Gemini to work on a real, recurring job, in public, where you can judge the output. Every story in the episode is also tappable, so the Wrap doubles as a menu: hear something that matters to you, tap it, and you land straight on the full article on the blog.

How Gemini makes it, start to finish

The entire Wrap is produced automatically at the start of each month, with no manual editing, and it comes together in a few distinct stages, with Gemini doing the heavy lifting at every one.

A five-step flow diagram titled How Gemini makes The Clicky Wrap, showing the pipeline left to right: 1 Gather the month, 2 Write the script, 3 Give it a voice, 4 Make the artwork, 5 Build the player, each step colour-coded in the Clicky palette of blue, red, amber and green.
The five stages, start to finish. Gemini does the heavy lifting at every step.

1. It gathers the month. The system looks at every blog post dated within the month that just finished. It only ever wraps a completed month, so you never get a half-finished episode partway through.

2. Gemini writes the script. Each article's summary, author and topic are handed to Google Gemini, which writes the full two-host dialogue: an intro, a short segment for every story, and a sign-off. Laura and Ollie speak as part of the team, paraphrase rather than recite, and keep it punchy and British.

3. ElevenLabs gives it a voice. That script is then turned into audio with ElevenLabs text-to-speech, one consistent voice for each host so the show always sounds like the same two people. We use the same voice pairing across the site, so the Wrap and our other audio share one sound.

4. Gemini makes the artwork. Every episode gets a unique cover. Gemini reads the month's headlines, dreams up a single editorial photo concept to represent the mood, renders it in our house style, and even animates it into a gently looping cover. The cracked, crumbling cookie on the April episode was its take on the end of the cookie. Nobody briefed that. It read the month and made the joke itself.

5. It builds the player. Finally the audio is stitched together with timing markers for each story, so the player can show you exactly which article is being discussed and let you jump straight to any of them. You get a clean player with the cover art, a scrubber, a downloadable file, a mini player that follows you around the site, and the tappable list of stories underneath.

The honest summary: we publish the articles, and at the start of the next month Gemini writes the Wrap, voices it, illustrates it and hands it over, ready to publish. We just listen back and grin.

A different AI-made cover every month

One detail we are quietly proud of is that no two episodes look the same. Because Gemini generates the artwork fresh from each month's stories, the cover is a little visual summary in its own right. Over time the Wrap archive becomes a row of small, distinct pieces of AI-made editorial art, each one tied to what actually happened that month. It is a nice reminder that the work changes month to month, and the show changes with it.

Have a listen

The best way to understand the Clicky Wrap is to press play on one. Head to the latest episode, hit play, and tap any story that catches your ear to read the full piece. Every completed month from 2026 onwards has its own edition, so you can scroll back through the archive whenever you fancy catching up on what you missed.

And if you would like this kind of thinking applied to your own marketing, smart, practical use of AI like Google Gemini on the jobs that actually move the needle, that is the day job. Come and say hello.
