Clicky Shortlisted at the UK Search Awards 2026 for Our Work with Lisa Angel

We're delighted to share that Clicky has been shortlisted at the UK Search Awards 2026 in the Best Use of Search: Retail / Ecommerce (PPC), Small category, for our paid media work with jewellery and gifting brand Lisa Angel.

The UK Search Awards are one of the most respected celebrations of search marketing in the country, recognising the very best SEO, PPC and content work from agencies and in-house teams. Being named a finalist alongside some of the UK's leading search specialists is a proud moment for the whole team, and a real testament to what a close, trusting client partnership can achieve.

Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Wednesday 25 November. Fingers crossed.

About Lisa Angel

Lisa Angel designs, creates and sources thoughtful gifts that spread happiness, spark memories and make people feel special. From delicate jewellery to carefully chosen homeware and accessories, their collections balance timeless style with contemporary detail, and the brand is passionate about keeping the high street a place of inspiration and discovery.

We worked with Lisa Angel across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and Meta Ads, and the shortlisted entry focuses on their most important trading window of the year: Q4 peak.

The challenge: scale without sacrificing profit

For any ecommerce brand, Black Friday and Christmas are where the year is won or lost. Lisa Angel needed to maximise volume through peak while protecting profitability, with a minimum blended target of 310% ROAS.

The tension was simple to describe and hard to solve. Spend too cautiously and you leave revenue on the table during the busiest weeks of the year. Push too hard and efficiency falls below the line. Our job was to spend as much as possible while staying comfortably above that threshold.

Our approach

Rather than treating each channel in isolation, we built a joined-up paid media strategy where search and social worked in harmony across the full funnel.

  • Smarter bidding targets. We set campaign ROAS targets slightly below the 310% floor to give the algorithms room to find more volume. That extra volume naturally lifted overall performance back above target, without us having to strangle budgets.
  • Peak-specific promotions. We built dedicated Black Friday and Christmas activity around strong-margin products that had performed well the previous Q4.
  • First-party data. Customer Match lists and custom audiences helped us reach both new and existing customers most likely to buy.
  • Demand Gen for awareness. We invested in Demand Gen to build brand awareness and grow remarketing audiences, which we then converted further down the funnel through Performance Max and Shopping campaigns.
  • Seasonality adjustments. By signalling expected spikes in conversion rate to the platforms, we captured a far greater share of high-intent traffic at exactly the right moments.
  • Microsoft Ads expansion. We took Lisa Angel's best-performing Google Ads campaigns into Microsoft Ads and optimised them for the Bing network and its partners, including DuckDuckGo and Ecosia, turning a previously minor channel into a key part of the mix.
  • Paid Social in support. Meta activity drove sales from conversion-ready users, generated awareness higher up the funnel with fresh image and video creative, and supported Lisa Angel's physical stores.

The results

The combined approach delivered Lisa Angel's strongest Q4 ever, beating both the client's targets and our own forecasts. Comparing Q4 2025 with Q4 2024:

  • 59% increase in paid media revenue
  • £603k in additional revenue year on year
  • 37% increase in clicks
  • 19% increase in conversion rate
  • 327% ROAS overall, comfortably above the 310% profitability target despite a significant increase in investment

Microsoft Ads also outperformed every target set for the quarter, finishing 32% above the revenue target, 19% above the sales target and 8% above the ROAS target.

Thank you

A huge well done to our paid media team, particularly Matt Jones and Alex Hickey, whose strategy, attention to detail and relentless optimisation through peak made this result possible.

And of course, a big thank you to the team at Lisa Angel. Results like these only happen when a client places real trust in their agency, and we're grateful for the partnership we built together.

"To be shortlisted at the UK Search Awards is fantastic recognition for the team. The Lisa Angel work is a great example of what we believe in at Clicky: channels working together rather than in silos, a clear focus on profitable growth, and a genuine partnership with our clients. Whatever happens on the night, we're incredibly proud of this one."
