Valentine's Day on Mobile

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, Google have rounded up some rather interesting mobile search stats which reveal that Valentine’s related searches have increased 58% year on year and ‘what to’ searches are the most popular. It also appears that women are far more organised than men, as they begin gift planning in early January, compared to men who begin planning from February 1st (are we really surprised by this though).
Turning to their smart devices more frequently that ever before, brands can reach consumers through timely, effective and above all relevant content/messages. These messages are best served when consumers are actively searching for information you can provide, therefore ensuring you target the right consumers at the right time of day with a message that translates well with them is key to a successful advertising campaign.
