It's 16 years since Clicky was conceptualised by our founder Oli Yeates. We've come a long way and the future looks even brighter.
Our official first day of trading was 1st August 2007 but the idea began in March to create an agency with a strong focus on getting great results online & an agency you wanted to work for.
We started with SEO & Web development as our core offering and we soon picked up some clients who saw what we could do. We believed if we focussed on doing a great job clients would stick with us and we didn't even ask anyone to sign a contract.
It was an exciting time for the internet. The first iPhone had just been announced and everyone was logging out of Bebo and heading for Facebook.
We found ourselves in pitches well out of our depth and the excitement about how far we could go was gathering pace.
We soon grew from 1 to 5 employees and we were getting really busy. We started offering Paid social, Paid Search and a few other core services, still laser-focussed on delivering ROI for our clients.
We started to pick up some awards for our work and soon the agency was 20 people strong with some household names as clients.
As we start to look back on the last 16 years so much has changed but very little has changed about what we deliver for our clients. The platforms have changed, the way we spend our time online is unrecognisable but our clients still ask for the same thing: an agency they can trust to deliver ROI for their business.
It's all about trust & we've been lucky to earn and retain that trust over time.
We have some exciting plans for the next 12 months and we can't wait to share them with you all very soon…
