Have a go at spotting how many things you remember from the last year:
What were the top 5 most watched videos in 2015?
1. Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae) by Silento
This annoyingly catchy song went viral this year, with people of all ages re-enacting the infamous Whip/Nae Nae dance.
2.Clash of Clans: Revenge (Official Super Bowl TV Commercial)
With Liam Neeson taking on his ‘Taken’ alter-ego (Bryan Mills) in this funny ad to promote the popular gaming app ‘Clash of Clans’, we’re not surprised it has been so popular. Having a prime airing spot on American TV did it plenty of favours as well, we’re sure!
3. Crazy Plastic Ball Prank
Who doesn’t love a good prank (when it’s all in good fun of course)? Well, Roman Atwood decided to turn his home into a ball pit to prank his wife. She was surprisingly good spirited about it all – just think of the clear up though!
4. Love Has No Labels | Diversity & Inclusion by Ad Council
The aim of this campaign was to challenge people to open their eyes to bias and prejudice because although the majority of us consider ourselves unprejudiced, many of us do make snap judgements about others.
This very clever piece of marketing was shared all over social, and unsurprisingly also went viral with people all over the world taking note of the important message depicted.
5. Lip Sync Battle with Will Ferrell, Kevin Hart and Jimmy Fallon
Comedians Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart had a lip sync battle on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and as usual the internet reacted causing this particular video to receive nearly 55 million views! I don’t think that many people would be watching a Clicky lip sync battle – we’ll leave it to the celebrities.
