Due to a fantastic period of impressive growth for the agency, achieved through new client wins and retention, we are now seeking an ppc executive to join our award-winning Clicky team in a lively, exciting and fast-paced environment.

Location: Chester City Centre – CH1
Type: Permanent
Salary: Dependant on experience + Generous KPI Linked Bonus, Macbook

Our desired candidate will have a year’s experience of the industry, currently working at junior level within a digital agency or in-house in an online environment. The candidate will perhaps be a junior looking to take their first “step up” within an agency, and keen to learn more quickly.

Alternatively, we’re happy to meet with individuals who feel they meet the specific skillset and have a passion to learn more about PPC.

The Role
In summary, the executive will be working alongside account managers on several clients across several industries including travel, education, leisure and retail sectors. You will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, creating and reporting across several PPC accounts.

The executive position will have a key role within the fast paced marketing team and will support all members of the the marketing team with their paid search advertising technical knowledge.

Typical day-to-day tasks would include:

  • Planning, building and optimisation of paid advertising campaigns for clients
  • Support account handlers to understand and seek to achieve client goals and satisfaction with our service
  • Feedback to account handlers / clients on the performance of campaigns and projects
  • Assisting members of the marketing team to develop our client portfolio and keep up-to-date with the latest industry news
  • Support account handlers were required at client meetings and conference calls with existing and prospective clients
  • Proactively suggest ideas and recommendations on client accounts

  • Skillset required

    Delivering a great client experience is at the heart of the paid advertising team and the position of the PPC Executive plays a vital role in this. You should have good communication skills and be able to support the account handlers with client communication.

    You should be confident with setting-up, planning, managing performance, budgeting and providing feedback on client campaigns. Your role will be vital in the growth of client accounts and ensuring results are at the heart of what you do.

    Supporting the account handlers, you will be required to manage a portfolio of different client campaigns and analyse performance through Adwords, Google Shopping, Bing and Analytics.

    You should be able to hit the ground running in this role and be keen to continually learn and build on your current knowledge of paid advertising. You should be able to pick up and retain new information quickly in order to benefit clients.

    You should be analytical and enjoy working with data, creating client-friendly explanations and recommendations on the back of your findings.

    You should be commercially minded; able to understand what your client is wanting to achieve, who their audience is and what a goal looks like to their particular business.

    You should be thorough and efficient, and experienced in producing reports.

    You should have an adaptive and can-do attitude, able to juggle several clients, deadlines and requirements, which may change on a daily basis.

    You should have the ability to think creatively to find solutions for clients and communicate and carry out these ideas effectively.

    You should have experience of running and reporting on digital marketing campaigns on a range of mediums including:

    • Google AdWords (Search & Display)
    • Bing Ads
    • Google Analytics

    It would be advantageous if you have experience of:

    • Google AdWords Certification
    • Google Shopping
    • Twitter Ads
    • Facebook Ads
    • LinkedIn Ads
    • Video Advertising (YouTube + others)
