We know that effective project management is a vital element of any successful web project and we have spent a lot of time perfecting our approach to make sure it is a seamless experience for our clients.
Before we start any new web project we like to arrange an initial “kick-off” meeting with our project manager, the key designer & developer at your offices (or ours) so our team can fully understand the project they are working on and to meet the key stakeholders. This gives the team the best possible start to the project and so you can be comfortable with the team you are working with.
We use Basecamp™ to manage your projects and to provide a central place for you to upload content, set milestones and monitor progress from a distance. We find the system is incredibly intuitive and perfectly suited to web development projects – we would provide full training to any relevant staff to ensure they can utilise the system effectively.
We provide “development links” throughout the process so you can see your new website developing and you get a direct line through to your project manager to ask any questions along the way.
We often get asked how long web projects take from start to finish but every project is different. Prior to embarking on your new website we would provide you with a full schedule of works to see your new site through from concept to completion. A web development project may last anything from 8 weeks to 6 months – it just depends on the complexity.
