Easy Access have been a valued client of Clicky’s for nearly 4 years now. They’re a family run self-storage company with facilities in Trafford and Stockport, with big plans for further expansion.

Easy Access ensures their customers really do receive the best service and offers and are dedicated to finding a storage solution to suit all needs, from business and domestic storage to retail units and virtual addresses.

We assist the client with their paid and organic search, working closely with them to ensure seasonal trends, promotions and business updates/changes are all included as part of their wider digital strategy.

The client’s core goal is to receive enquiries either online through their ‘contact us’ or ‘get a quote’ forms, or via telephone. All decisions we make when reviewing their strategy are based on the question “will this help gain more enquiries?”, whether that’s in the short or long term.

What we do

As Easy Access service a range of business, commercial and domestic storage needs, we ensure that all paid and organic activity has been planned with this in mind. We have PPC budgets split by focus areas for each month, which can be determined by seasonality or offers that are currently running.

Easy Access also have a ProSupport retainer with us, which allows us to easily implement changes to the website that aid the on-going PPC and organic campaigns. This could include changes to the contact forms, call to action split testing, or refreshing designs to ensure the website is consistently updated and as easy as it can be for users to navigate.

We’ve recently introduced display and re-marketing into Easy Access’ strategy after consistent improvement across all metrics with their Search campaigns. Notable improvements have been seen across all organic metrics too, with sessions, traffic, conversions, and rankings continuing to improve.

Results

Year on year (2015/2016 vs. 2016/2017), we’ve seen some impressive growth across the PPC campaigns we’ve been running. The following metrics have all been pulled from Adwords, and for smaller, localised campaigns, are performing fantastically:

  • 164.86% increase in clicks, which translates into 2,702 more visits to the site from our adverts than the previous year
  • 87.07% increase in impressions, meaning that the adverts were seen 71,901 more times
  • 41.58% increase in click-through rate, meaning the adverts are reaching are more relevant audience
  • 254.12% increase in conversions, creating 216 additional enquiries when compared with the previous year
  • £5.94 decrease in cost per enquiry

Year on Year, organic metrics have significantly improved too. Through analysing Google Analytics data, we can see that:

  • There were 519 more conversions (enquiries) when compared with the previous year, with the conversion rate increasing by 28.24%
  • Traffic to the site from natural search increased by 66.16%, while the views increased by 56.08%
  • There were 66.65% more users on the website
  • Bounce rate decreased by 9.92%, meaning that the traffic heading to the website was finding it more relevant
  • Average session duration increased by 13.85% too, showing that users are spending longer browsing Easy Access’ website.

This improvement in performance year on year is only possible through continued optimisation, analysis of data, plus applying these findings to the account, and the cross-agency approach adopted at Clicky.
