Established for nearly twenty-five years, The Global Travel Group inspire people to run their own business in the lucrative travel industry, whether they have a background in travel or are new to the travel scene.

Back in 2013, Clicky were asked by The Global Travel Group to take charge of their digital marketing efforts and see what improvements we could make on their previous cost per lead. Four years later, Global are still a very valued client of ours and together we’ve worked to reduce their cost per lead and year on year whilst generating a greater number of conversions.

We currently manage The Global Travel Group’s Google AdWords account, and have created a bespoke landing page for advertising, which we’re looking to refresh to ensure content and design is kept modern and fresh. Within Adwords, we have search campaigns, as well as display remarketing campaigns for users who have landed on the website but not converted (enquired).

Since we began working with Global, we’ve seen account metrics improve drastically.

Cost per conversions decreased by 49.53% (just over £8), conversions increased by 137.17% (over 2,000), and conversion rate increase by 292.10% when comparing Sept 2016 – Sept 2017 with Sept 2015 – Sept 2016.

Ensuring we direct valuable traffic to the website is key, and we strive to improve on the quality of traffic through refining the campaigns as much as possible. This is done through keeping a continuously updated negative keyword list, utilising the ad copy that has proven to perform best and using ad extensions to give users as much information as possible in the hope they click through.
