The insulation market demand has been challenging, seeing a 13% decrease in search demand YoY and an 18% decrease over the last two years. Knauf needed to defend and expand its digital footprint to stay ahead of in this competitive marketplace that is dominated by a few key players.

The insulation market demand has been challenging, seeing a 13% decrease in search demand YoY and an 18% decrease over the last two years. Knauf needed to defend and expand its digital footprint to stay ahead of in this competitive marketplace that is dominated by a few key players.
The Solution
Our strategy was rooted in acting as Knauf Insulation’s strategic partner to deliver targeted organic growth while supporting the seamless migration to the new Knauf 2.0 platform.
This approach relied on two critical pillars. A primary technical focus to ensure the new domain successfully outranked the legacy pages.
Second, the content strategy pivoted expanding content beyond product-level queries to capture new user acquisition where significant growth lies by creating dedicated, optimised pages for informational and question-based queries to increase organic visibility.
Following strategic optimisation efforts directed at the new Knauf 2.0 site, we delivered significant short-term recovery and growth resulted in Knauf being recognised as a ‘rising player’ in the market and the third largest site in terms of all traffic.
Organic visitors to insulation-related pages increased by 14.59%.
Knowledge pages saw an increase of +21.97%.
Product pages saw an increase of +11.10%.
Secured top positions for critical product and application terms.
