Matthew’s are the number one agent on Rightmove for student houseshares in Chester. Fully licenced by ARLA, they offer a wide range of high-quality houses and flats for first time and returning students. They also have a dedicated students letting team to manage their properties and provide the best experience to their tenants.

The brief

August and September are some of the peak months in the student lettings world and with prospective students greatly anticipating their A Level results, Matthew’s wanted to revamp the student houseshare page on their website and promote their student offering more heavily once A Level results day had landed.

What we did

In order to achieve Matthew’s goals, various departments at Clicky were required to work as a larger team to create an efficient workflow and ensure deadlines were met.

First of all, our design team created a bespoke template that would bring a more modern and fresh look to the website and worked in Matthew’s feedback to create a design that would meet with their approval. The approved design template was then passed over to our ProSupport team, who built and launched the template onto the website. At the same time, our PPC and social media teams created display, remarketing and Facebook ads with the objective of driving traffic to the newly designed student houseshare page.

Results achieved

In the two weeks following the launch of the newly designed page: –

  • Student houseshare pageviews increased 314% YoY
  •  display ads were the top driver of traffic to the page
  • The display, remarketing and Facebook ads accounted for nearly 70% of all traffic to the page
