A different Clicky Christmas
What a year it has been, with our team of 50+ based up and down the country we thought it best to celebrate the festive season at a distance. December has been such a busy month for us and our clients. To keep our team in good spirits, even though we’re unable to celebrate together this year, here’s what we have been up to.
We started the month with a mystery send out to the team, it included all the December 1st essentials, including an advent calendar and hot chocolate!
We got in the Christmas spirit from home and asked everyone to send us a “Christmas Selfie”, which later featured on our company Christmas card which has been sent to all of our staff, clients, our loyal suppliers and neighbours.
We’ve hosted weekly “Thursday drinks” from 5 pm, just like our tea breaks they’ve been a great opportunity to get together and catch up with colleagues over a beer, wine, cocktail, mocktail or whatever you fancy!
It wouldn’t be December without Secret Santa 🎅 or Christmas Jumper day, staff have been eagerly awaiting gifts 🎁 from their colleagues and wearing their most horrendous festive jumpers.
Our ‘happy place’ Slack channel has been filled with staff sharing recipes for cocktails, cakes and much more. We have also seen the odd throwback photo reminiscing about previous Christmas Parties 🥳 – remember those?
The new Chester HQ is almost ready for staff to eventually join us again in the new year, we couldn’t help but put up a few decorations in the meantime.
This year, instead of sending gifts to our clients, we made donations on their behalf. The charities included The Brain Tumour Charity, Mind, NHS Charities Together, Countess of Chester Rainbow Project and Age UK. We hope our contribution can in some way help people during what will be an incredibly difficult Christmas.
Over the festive period, we are open as usual, 9 am to 5.30 pm weekdays, and will be closed on the bank holidays.
On behalf of everyone at Clicky, we wish all of our clients, followers, and connections a very Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
