We’re really pleased to share our latest web project with you – Waterside Parks, in partnership with Northumbrian Water!

With 13 fisheries throughout the UK under Northumbrian Water and Essex & Suffolk Water ownership, and a total of 23 across the wider group, the client wanted to promote this arm of the business more effectively. The previous digital strategy for each park and fishery was relatively disjointed, with information shared across a number of websites and online presences.

The aim of this project was to achieve a consistent approach which could be applied across the individual parks, whilst also showcasing the wider attractions, activities and facilities available at each location, beyond simply fishing. Our ambition was to create a fresh, modern brand and an industry leading website across both aesthetics and technology, one which would provide a useful resource for prospective visitors and a new marketing tool for the business.

With the previous website being in need of a restructure and modernisation, the solution needed to be scalable – anticipating future growth – easily manageable and updatable, whilst being fully responsive in line with changing consumer trends in the market.

This project enabled us to really express our creativity in design – we worked hard to establish a solid brand presence for Waterside Parks that simultaneously stands proud of, yet suits in with, the Northumbrian Water Group visual identity. Simple, yet striking hand drawn illustrations are effective in creating a fun, relaxed look and feel that truly reflects the ethos of the parks as a family friendly location for a fantastic day out.

We’re incredibly proud of the finished product, and hope you love it as much as we do!
