Clicky support local design students & donate to Claire House
Over the last 20 years Claire House has come a long way. During the last 6 years alone, there has been an 84% increase in demand for their services. We have supported Claire House for nearly two years, constantly thinking of ways to continue our support and we have been able to raise over £3k for the hospice.
The University of Chester recently approached Clicky to ask if we would be interested in providing two representatives to assist with the current 3rd year Graphic Design students portfolio interviews. We were delighted to help out and in March Rhian, our Digital Design Manager and our Lead Digital Designer Hayley went to the university to conduct the interviews.
Rhian and I really enjoyed the experience, meeting all the students and seeing their work. We were paid by the university for the work we did but decided we would like to donate it to charity.
“The University wanted us to provide their students with a professional interview experience to help prepare them for the future. During the interviews we were able to give feedback on the work and also give the students pointers for future interviews.”
I have been really moved by hearing about all the great work that Claire House do to help seriously and terminally ill children. It’s really nice to know that the money we have raised is going towards trying to give these children the best quality of life possible.

Along with Hayley and Rhian’s efforts Clicky have been involved with a number of fundraising activities over the last quarter such as a Butterfly Bake Sale and a fundraising step challenge raising over £200.
Later this year we have proudly been invited to the Corporate Thank You Event hosted by Claire House where we will be able to meet staff from all areas of the charity and find out first-hand how our support has helped.
