Becoming a more responsible business is in the forefront of our minds this year, here are some resolutions we have set ourselves as motivation for the year ahead.
We have partnered with charities such as The Brain Tumour Charity, Mind, Age UK, NHS Together, Countess of Chester Hospital, Beat the Streets, The Girls Network to give money, time and services. We take our corporate social responsibility seriously and continually keep ideas flowing about how we can help society, community and environmental causes.
So far we have reached 61% of our profit pledge goal and i’m sure we will exceed this by the end of the year.
Some of our staff will be unofficial ambassadors in this field and will be researching and sharing opportunities for us to get involved in, whether that be physical support (when possible) or using our skills in the community from the safety of our homes.
As a business, we have continually made sustainable tweaks to become more responsible for our environment. This year we feel we can do more and have taken steps to understand what our footprint is and put plans in place to neutralise this over the next 3 years. We are environmentally, ethically and morally considerate and have every intention to exercise this as much as possible. We will be looking into tree planting schemes, reviewing and onboarding local and eco-friendly suppliers, and are excited to work with our like minded clients over the coming years.
We allow time in schedules for all team members to have 1 day per month for training and development to ensure our clients receive the most qualified, up to date experience. We commit to our Diversity, Equality and Inclusion policy by inviting all staff to attend bi-monthly training sessions on our actions to adhere to our policies.
We will make efforts to keep in touch with our clients, colleagues, connections, followers, friends and family and let them know we are here for them. If you are struggling remember, there are some great charities out there who are on hand to help:
Whether it be a lunch time walk or a full blown workout, keeping your body moving can help clear your mind and improve your mood, amongst other physical health benefits. We will host a quarterly agency step challenge to keep us moving. As some extra motivation this month, we have a minimum collective goals of 500,000 steps. If we reach our goal, Clicky will make a donation to our partner charity.
We will do all we can to achieve our resolutions this year and hope this inspires others to do something similar.
