Clicky’s wellbeing round-up
2020 has been incredibly difficult for many, here’s what we have been up to over the last 6 months to make things a little easier and more positive for our team.
Open communication is key to everything we do at Clicky, so whilst staff have been working remotely we wanted to make sure our relationships across the teams didn’t fade. We regularly use Slack to communicate internally and created a new channel called “Happy Place”. We use this daily to share wellness initiatives, send positive news and photos of what we have been up to.
There has been a lot of change this year and our industry is so fast moving. To help others embrace change and get talking we host regular “tea break” on Google Hangouts which last from five to thirty minutes. It’s an opportunity to get a drink and say hello to colleagues who staff don’t generally work with day to day and talk about non work related things as you would in “normal life” whilst waiting for the kettle to boil. We also ask all staff to complete regular surveys as a check in to see how everyone is coping and assessing what we can do to make improvements.
Something which we continually do at Clicky is celebrate staff milestones, this hasn’t stopped! We want every staff member to feel valued and show this with a card, gift and agency wide shout out for all milestone anniversaries.
We have been fortunate enough to be shortlisted for a number of awards over the last few months such as “Best Large Agency”, “Best Non-For Profit Campaign” and “UK Biddable Media Agency of the Year” (which we won!) These event’s have been hosted virtually this year and we invited a number of the team to attend, we even sent them a few treats to help them enjoy the night from the comfort of their own home!
Wellness has been so important this year, mentally and physically. We have hosted step challenges, added exercise breaks to staff calendars to get the team moving and recently sent all staff a care package, encouraging our team to take a break for themselves and improve their work/life balance.
We couldn’t be prouder of what staff have achieved this year, and look forward to celebrating as much as we can on the lead up to Christmas. We can’t wait to get all of the team back together in the new year!
