Looking for the most popular Christmas gifts for women in 2026? We ranked the UK's biggest women's gift brands and products by how many people are expected to search for them this Christmas, using real search data rather than a hunch. The result is a top 20 led by Pandora, Jellycat and Charlotte Tilbury, with Rhode, the Oura Ring and Coach bags rising fastest and Abbott Lyon cooling the most.
Each figure is a prediction: what the gift drew last November and December, moved by how interest has changed since. We explain the method, and what it cannot see, just below the grid. If you are buying, it is a good steer on what will be hard to find by December. If you sell gifts for women, or advertise them, it shows you where the demand is and when it arrives. How we predict the most popular gifts for women this Christmas
Every figure in this post is a prediction, and it is built from 2 pieces of evidence rather than a hunch.
1. Search volumes tell us the size of last Christmas. Semrush records how many times each gift was searched on Google in the UK every month. For every product on the list we took its searches in November and December 2025, the 2 months when Christmas buying actually happens. That is the baseline: how big the gift was last time, at the moment it mattered.
2. Google Trends tells us how interest has moved since. For each product we compared Google Trends interest in October 2026 with October 2025. If a gift is drawing 37% more interest than it was a year ago going into the season, we expect its Christmas to be 37% bigger too. If interest has fallen by a third, we expect its Christmas to shrink by the same amount.
Multiply the 2 and you get the expected UK searches a month this Christmas. We rank on that number, rounded to 2 significant figures, and we show last Christmas's figure next to every entry so you can see the step.
Why not just use the yearly average?
Because the yearly average hides exactly the things a Christmas list needs to show. Rhode averages 135,000 UK searches a month across the year, but it drew around 170k a month last November and December, and with interest up 73% we expect around 290k this time. The average would have undersold it.
It cuts the other way when interest is cooling. Abbott Lyon drew around 450k a month last Christmas, but Google Trends interest is down 22% on last October, which puts it at around 350k a month and 11th on the list. A yearly average would have hidden that direction completely.
What the method cannot see
- Launches. A product with no Christmas to compare against is shown at its current run rate, and its actual Christmas will be bigger.
- Stock. Search interest measures what people want, not what they can buy. Limited editions and launch-year consoles sell out, and the searches carry on regardless.
- November surprises. A product that goes viral in late November will not be in October's data, which is a good reason to re-run this in December.

Which gifts for women are rising, and which are fading
The top of the list barely moves: Pandora, Jellycat, Charlotte Tilbury, Ugg and Lush are all within a few percent of last year. The change is underneath. Rhode is up 73%, the Oura Ring 37% and Coach bags 26%. Jewellery is splitting: Pandora and Swarovski are steady, while Abbott Lyon (down 22%) and Monica Vinader (down 14%) are cooling. And last year's viral buys keep fading: the Stanley cup is down 16% and Sol de Janeiro, down 27%, has dropped out of the top 20.
What UK shoppers are searching for right now
Google Trends flags the searches growing fastest around a topic. These are the rising searches around "christmas gifts for women", "gifts for women", "gifts for her", "gifts for mum" and "gifts for girlfriend" over the past 3 months. A "breakout" is a search that has grown by more than 5,000%.
Meaningful beats expensive
"Christmas gifts for women who have everything", "unusual christmas gifts for women" and "funny christmas gifts for women" are all breakouts. "Sentimental gifts for her" is up 200% and "meaningful gifts for her" up 80%, and "thoughtful gifts for girlfriend" and "handmade gifts for girlfriend" are breakouts. Etsy is a breakout too.
The girlfriend list
Searches around "gifts for girlfriend" are naming brands: Jellycat and Coach bags are both breakouts, and "necklace for girlfriend" is up 60%. "Expensive gifts for girlfriend" and "simple gifts for girlfriend" are both breaking out, so both ends of the budget are busy.
Mum, Secret Santa and stocking fillers
"Christmas gift for mum" is up 500%, "christmas gifts for mum and dad" 150% and Oliver Bonas 200%. "Secret santa gifts for women" is up 400% and "stocking fillers" is a breakout, while "fortnum and mason gifts for her" is up 90% and "highland cow gifts for her" 110%.
When people shop for women's Christmas gifts
74% of the year's "christmas gifts for women" searches happen in November and December. "Gifts for her", "gifts for mum" and "gifts for girlfriend" all peak in December, and stocking fillers are the latest of all. The big brands are earlier: Ugg, the Apple Watch and the iPad all peak in November, around Black Friday.
| Search | Before November | November | December |
|---|---|---|---|
| christmas gifts for women | 17% | 37% | 37% |
| gifts for women | 18% | 23% | 23% |
| gifts for her | 19% | 18% | 28% |
| gifts for mum | 16% | 20% | 30% |
| gifts for girlfriend | 24% | 16% | 23% |
| stocking fillers for women | 12% | 31% | 46% |
Share of each search's yearly volume (Semrush UK, August 2025 to July 2026). The rest falls between January and July.
What it means for retailers and advertisers
The big names are steady, the growth is underneath. Pandora, Jellycat and Charlotte Tilbury will dominate volume and click costs, but the brands growing fastest are Rhode, Coach and the Oura Ring. If you stock them, they are where incremental demand is.
Jewellery is splitting. Pandora and Swarovski are holding, while Abbott Lyon, Monica Vinader and Astrid & Miyu are all down by double digits. Smaller jewellery brands will need to work harder for the same Christmas, and "necklace for girlfriend" searches are a good place to do it.
Sell the meaning. "Sentimental", "meaningful", "thoughtful" and "who has everything" are all among the fastest-growing gift searches for women. Personalisation, engraving and gift messaging will land better than discounts for a lot of shoppers.
Plan for 2 peaks. Branded tech and Ugg peak in November, while gift-for-her and stocking filler searches peak in December. Budget for both, and keep delivery cut-offs clear in the final weeks.

How we did it
- Expected Christmas searches and ranking: each gift's UK monthly searches in November and December 2025 (Semrush UK database, monthly trend data), multiplied by its change in Google Trends interest between October 2025 and October 2026. A gift with no like-for-like last Christmas uses its current 3-month run rate. Figures are rounded to 2 significant figures.
- Year-on-year change: Google Trends UK interest for each product, comparing average weekly interest in October 2026 with October 2025. Each term was measured separately, so the figures show change over time, not relative popularity between brands.
- Search volumes: Semrush UK database, average monthly search volumes and monthly trend data, pulled 1 November 2026.
- Rising searches: Google Trends UK related queries for "christmas gifts for women", "gifts for women", "gifts for her", "gifts for mum" and "gifts for girlfriend", past 3 months, as of 1 November 2026. Sol de Janeiro, Astrid & Miyu, Rituals gift sets, Owala, Shark FlexStyle, GHD and YSL Libre were measured the same way.
