Sarah at Clicky – one year on!
Sarah joined the Clicky team 12 months ago as an Account Manager. We can’t believe it’s been a whole year. Time flies when you’re having fun!
Since then Sarah has been promoted to Senior Account Manager. This was due to her hard work and dedication to clients. We’ve caught up with Sarah to discuss her journey to Clicky, what a typical week looks like and what she is looking forward to in the next 12 months.
Why did you join Clicky?
I am originally from near London. When starting my career I worked in PR for a luxury watch brand down south. A couple of years ago I moved to Chester and initially, I worked in house as a Marketing Manager for a tech start-up company. Wanting a challenge closer to home, I joined Clicky and have never looked back!
As a Senior Account Manager, you’re working on a variety of clients. What does your typical week look like?
As a Senior Account Manager, I lead on the strategic implementation of the digital marketing strategy for clients. This involves effectively coordinating teams internally, whilst externally managing the expectations of the client’s own marketing team.
It may sound really cliched but no two days are the same.
One day I might be working on the implementation of a social campaign, coming up with eye-catching design requirements and researching into key audience targeting. The next day I will be on a conference call with the MD of a client discussing commercial revenue and revenue targets. As an Account Manager, you have to be well versed across multiple platforms and have the ability to communicate with stakeholders at various levels.
What are you looking forward to in the next 12 months?
From a professional perspective, I am looking forward to the economic situation stabilising and helping businesses across a wealth of industries capitalising on this ‘return to normality’ through their digital marketing strategies.
One of the things I love about my job is coming up with the solution to commercial problems. Then implementing an effective marketing strategy that impacts a client’s bottom line. It is amazing to work on something from concept to creation and see the impact it has on client’s business.
On a personal level, I am looking forward to finally being able to get married once coronavirus is over!
