Toad Hall Cottages 230% sales increase as the UK staycation boom begins

Toad Hall Cottages have seen a revenue increase of over 230% year on year as the staycation boom begins.

Toad Hall Cottages are based in the West Country and have been the choice to thousands of holidaymakers for over 32 years. They have over 900 carefully selected properties across the county’s most beautiful holiday locations.

We’ve had the pleasure of working with Toad Hall Cottages as their digital partner since 2015. Supporting them on several projects over the years, such as the redesign of their website, as well as helping them to reach their audience and better reflect their fantastic offering. 

As we are all aware, COVID-19 has had a devastating effect on the travel and tourism industry when lockdown came into force back in March. However, things are finally starting to look up! The latest, much-anticipated government announcement has stated that holiday homes can open from the 4th July. Therefore allowing domestic tourism to start back up again.

Toad Hall Cottages have been gearing up ready to start welcoming guests back to their properties. They made the decision to restart their PPC campaigns ahead of the government announcement in June.

As a result, at the end of their full month of live Google Ads activity,Toad Hall Cottages have seen a revenue increase from organic of over 230% and 127% increase from PPC year on year. This is reflective of the market’s desire to get away following months of being at home.

This is a really encouraging sign for the domestic Travel & Tourism industry. We hope to see further positive developments as more announcements are made and we begin the new normality.
