THE PROJECT
Their most recent challenge was about how their products were found, understood, and purchased in a digital-first world.
While their trade-facing website was already generating the majority of revenue, their consumer-facing website told a different story. Despite attracting 10x more traffic, visitors weren’t taking meaningful actions. Shoppers were browsing products but weren’t finding clear routes to purchase, download brochures, or request samples.
At the same time, the business knew it couldn’t afford to send out a “one-size-fits-all” message. They needed refined targeting and smarter ways to connect with multiple audiences.

THE SOLUTION
We began with deep SEO and keyword research, enabling the team to refine messaging and ensure that content spoke to the right audiences. Instead of broad and generic messaging, Archwood could now benefit from a sharper and more targeted digital presence.
By diving into Google Analytics we identified the real story behind the consumer site traffic. High volumes of visitors but very little engagement. These insights became the foundation for a focused redesign strategy that was built around actual user behaviours.
From there, the consumer website was reimagined to put the user journey at its heart. Navigation, category pages, and product detail pages were redesigned with clear and prominent calls to action, guiding customers toward meaningful next steps.
This project was technically ambitious, from integrating complex stock systems to balancing the needs of different stakeholders and audience types, we needed to ensure that the final outcomes weren’t just functional but strategically aligned with the clients’ growth ambitions.
This project has delivered measurable results across both engagement and growth. Archwood Group is already on track in year one of their 3 year plan to hit the ambitious target of 8% annual growth, with digital performance providing a clear contribution.
Leads and conversions have seen a strong uplift representing a 36.94% increase YoY compared to Q2 2024.
Traffic growth has been equally encouraging with organic sessions seeing a 40.68% YoY increase in the first half of the year, showing that more customers are discovering and engaging with the brand through search.
Beyond the numbers, the business has gained more confidence in its digital presence. The consumer website is now a place where visitors can clearly navigate, take action, and move from inspiration to purchase.
