The Challenge

Entering Q3 2025, Epwin Group faced a complex digital landscape, which came with multiple challenges:

  1. Intense Market Competition: The building supplies market, particularly for "wall panels," was seeing increasingly aggressive competitor spending on both Paid Search and Social.

  1. Critical Conversion Funnel Leaks: Our initial data analysis for National Plastics uncovered optimisation opportunities to help improve key conversion points.

  2. Technical SEO Barriers: Organic performance was being hindered by poor page speed, causing declines in impressions and the loss of high-intent keyword rankings.

The Challenge

We deployed a strategy focused on immediate revenue generation, new channel expansion whilst fixing critical technical issues.

  1. Paid Media Acceleration (National Plastics):

  • We scaled ad spend on high-performing channels while implementing a new creative testing framework. This included deploying value-focused creative for the Trade audience and testing new platforms.

  • We identified Pinterest as a high-potential channel for the visual, home-improvement-focused E-com audience and moved to scale activity rapidly.

  1. Data-Driven UX & CRO Analysis:

  • We conducted a deep-dive UX analysis of the National Plastics conversion funnel which identified opportunities for optimisations.

  1. Technical SEO & Content Optimisation (Targwall):

  • We isolated the server and page speed issues that were hindering Targwall's organic visibility.

  • We re-optimised 20 core category pages, targeting high-volume keywords that had been lost due to the technical issues.

Our integrated approach delivered exceptional growth, validating the strategy and setting a new performance benchmark.

National Plastics: Dominating Paid Channels

  • Paid Search generated an additional +28% of revenue YoY at a highly effiecnt ROAS of 683%.

  • A surge in platform efficiency across Paid Social saw ROAS climb from 2.53 in July to 4.57 in October (+80% QoQ).

  • Paid Social successfully generated 185 Trade Leads (+122% YoY), with the conversion rate increasing by +161% YoY.

New Channel Validation: Pinterest

The strategic activation of Pinterest for National Plastics delivered explosive, high-efficiency growth with a total of 447 purchases generated from Pinterest. 

Targwall: The Technical SEO Turnaround

Fixing the page speed issues and re-optimising content had an immediate and dramatic impact on organic performance:

  • In the 14 days following the fix, the site saw an immediate +9% increase in clicks and impressions.

  • We successfully recaptured high-value, non-brand keywords that had been lost.
