Top 20 Christmas gifts for girls 2026, ranked by UK Google searches
The UK's most popular Christmas gifts for girls in 2026, predicted from real search demand. Lego, Nintendo Switch 2 and NeeDoh lead, Rhode, magnetic tiles and Owala are rising fastest and Labubu has crashed. Plus the tween skincare question and when parents shop.
Part of our UK Christmas search series: the top 20 gifts by UK Google searches for everyone, men, women, boys and girls.
Looking for the most popular Christmas gifts for girls in 2026? We ranked the UK's biggest toys, gifts and teen favourites for girls by how many people are expected to search for them this Christmas, using real search data rather than a hunch. The result is a top 20 led by Lego, the Nintendo Switch 2 and NeeDoh, with Rhode, magnetic tiles and Owala rising fastest and Labubu falling furthest.
Each figure is a prediction: what the gift drew last November and December, moved by how interest has changed since. We explain the method, and what it cannot see, just below the grid. If you are buying, it is a good steer on what will be hard to find by December. If you sell toys or gifts for girls, or advertise them, it shows you where the demand is and when it arrives. For the full picture, see our top 20 Christmas gifts in the UK, the top 20 for women and the top 20 for boys.

How we predict the most popular gifts for girls this Christmas
Every figure in this post is a prediction, and it is built from 2 pieces of evidence rather than a hunch.
1. Search volumes tell us the size of last Christmas. Semrush records how many times each gift was searched on Google in the UK every month. For every product on the list we took its searches in November and December 2025, the 2 months when Christmas buying actually happens. That is the baseline: how big the gift was last time, at the moment it mattered.
2. Google Trends tells us how interest has moved since. For each product we compared Google Trends interest in October 2026 with October 2025. If a gift is drawing 37% more interest than it was a year ago going into the season, we expect its Christmas to be 37% bigger too. If interest has fallen by a third, we expect its Christmas to shrink by the same amount.
Multiply the 2 and you get the expected UK searches a month this Christmas. We rank on that number, rounded to 2 significant figures, and we show last Christmas's figure next to every entry so you can see the step.
Why not just use the yearly average?
Because the yearly average hides exactly the things a Christmas list needs to show. Owala averages 110,000 UK searches a month across the year, but it drew around 120k a month last November and December, and with interest up 51% we expect around 180k this time. The average would have undersold it.
It cuts the other way when interest is cooling. Sol de Janeiro drew around 280k a month last Christmas, but Google Trends interest is down 27% on last October, which puts it at around 200k a month and 8th on the list. A yearly average would have hidden that direction completely.
What the method cannot see
- Launches. A product with no Christmas to compare against is shown at its current run rate, and its actual Christmas will be bigger.
- Stock. Search interest measures what people want, not what they can buy. Limited editions and launch-year consoles sell out, and the searches carry on regardless.
- November surprises. A product that goes viral in late November will not be in October's data, which is a good reason to re-run this in December.

What UK shoppers are searching for right now
Google Trends flags the searches growing fastest around a topic. These are the rising searches around "christmas gifts for girls", "gifts for girls", "gifts for teenage girls", "toys for girls" and "stocking fillers for girls" over the past 3 months. A "breakout" is a search that has grown by more than 5,000%.
Value is on parents' minds
"Tesco toys for girls" is a breakout and "asda toys for girls" is up 50%, so supermarket toy ranges are part of the shortlist. "Christmas toys for girls" is up 350% and "christmas gifts for girls" 400%.
Searching by interest
"Harry potter toys for girls" is up 250%, "frozen toys for girls" 90%, "dinosaur toys for girls" 80%, "gymnastics gifts for girls" 80% and "creative toys for girls" 60%. "Toys for girls age 7" is up 50%.
Teenagers
"Xmas gifts for teenage girls" and "good gifts for teenage girls" are breakouts, and "christmas gifts for teenage girls" is up 130%. Stocking fillers for teenage girls are the latest search of all, peaking in December.
When people shop for girls' Christmas gifts
Early, like boys' gifts. 29% of the year's "christmas gifts for girls" searches happen before November, and the search peaks in November. Lego, Ugg, GHD, Sylvanian Families, the Toniebox and the Yoto Player all peak in November too. Lush and teenage stocking fillers are the late ones, peaking in December.
| Search | Before November | November | December |
|---|---|---|---|
| christmas gifts for girls | 29% | 38% | 25% |
| gifts for girls | 20% | 23% | 23% |
| toys for girls | 30% | 18% | 12% |
| gifts for teenage girls | 22% | 22% | 22% |
| stocking fillers for girls | 21% | 28% | 28% |
| stocking fillers for teenage girls | 15% | 29% | 53% |
Share of each search's yearly volume (Semrush UK, August 2025 to July 2026). The rest falls between January and July.
What it means for retailers and advertisers
Plan for 2 audiences. Toys for younger girls and beauty and lifestyle gifts for teenagers behave differently, peak at different times and are bought by different people. They deserve separate campaigns and landing pages.
Be ready in November. Girls' gift searches peak earlier than adults', and most of the big toys peak around Black Friday. Feeds, gift guides and offers should be live from early November.
Value matters. Supermarket toy searches are breaking out, so price and value messaging will land with a lot of parents this year.
Follow the teenage money. Rhode and Owala are growing fast while Labubu, Sol de Janeiro, the Stanley cup and the tween skincare brands cool. Stock and budget should follow.

How we did it
- Expected Christmas searches and ranking: each gift's UK monthly searches in November and December 2025 (Semrush UK database, monthly trend data), multiplied by its change in Google Trends interest between October 2025 and October 2026. A gift with no like-for-like last Christmas uses its current 3-month run rate. Figures are rounded to 2 significant figures.
- Year-on-year change: Google Trends UK interest for each product, comparing average weekly interest in October 2026 with October 2025. Each term was measured separately, so the figures show change over time, not relative popularity between brands.
- Search volumes: Semrush UK database, average monthly search volumes and monthly trend data, pulled 1 November 2026.
- Rising searches: Google Trends UK related queries for "christmas gifts for girls", "gifts for girls", "gifts for teenage girls", "toys for girls" and "stocking fillers for girls", past 3 months, as of 1 November 2026. Drunk Elephant, Glow Recipe, Bubble, Gabby's Dollhouse, Polly Pocket, the Instax Mini and the Switch Lite were measured the same way.
