The boards are up at our Manchester HQ and the renovation work has begun. The ground and first floors are being turned into a new co-working space, meeting rooms and a coffee shop, with a few other bits being added along the way.

The new spaces are being run by x+why, the B Corp workspace operator with sites across London, Birmingham, Leeds and Milton Keynes. Manchester is the latest addition, and it's a strong fit for the city's growing flex-space scene.

We're staying put on the 6th floor in our own space, where the Clicky team will carry on as normal while the work goes on downstairs. The new floors won't change the day job, but they will give us a few useful options we don't currently have in the building. A proper coffee shop on the ground floor. Extra meeting rooms when ours are booked out. A co-working space that gives the team somewhere different to work from when they want a change of scene, and somewhere comfortable for clients to sit when they come in to see us.

We've been at Lever Street for 2 years now and it's been a great base for us. Seeing this kind of investment going into the building is a nice next step.

The work will take a few months. Opening is planned for later in 2026. I'll share more as it progresses.
